Crystals/Stones/Minerals/Fossils/Meteorites/Impactites/Tektites/Etc…. Our Allies from the Mineral Kingdom! Part 1
Hello, everyone! For my first blog post, I wanted to start with a topic that really lights me up! Surely, most people can relate to a time when picking up something shiny on/in the ground impulsively (perhaps when you were a kid or if you’re like me and you still do it today on occasion) and it turned out to be a particularly sparkly or otherwise fascinating stone. While most of the time it probably wasn’t anything anyone might deem too significant, remember the feelings that it stirred in you upon seeing it and picking it up?
Now, I’m a firm believer that there are really no such thing as accidents (while this isn’t to say that they aren’t surprising or often times tragic… it’s important to realize that even in tragedy there is a purpose. Whether it’s a lesson to learn or the initiation of transformation…). As many before me may have said, energy is intelligent! While it is easy to say, “Well, over time after the Earth formed, everything shifted… winds blew, water swept through the land… So that now, coincidentally, what you see is a pretty rock.” Or even… “Well we had all this rock shipped in so we could have a pretty covering around our front garden” / “as a covering layer over our dirt roads so when it rains or when the snow melts our cars don’t get stuck in the mud.” Then of course there’s also for the collectors… “Actually, I bought this from this store who sourced it from this mine that intentionally digs for this particular piece.”
While these all might be based somewhat in truth, I find it to be way too practical and rigid. I’ve realized that existence is anything but rigid or necessarily practical (and I’m sure if you haven’t realized it yet, if you keep up with me here, you’ll soon find out! 😁🤓😇)
“THE WOO-WOO WAY!!!!!!”
Imagine with me for a minute…. That any particular rock/crystal that you have, before you now have it… is laying in wait for someone to find it. Now, as everything in existence has an electro-magnetic field (or what mystics may refer to as an “aura”) of some kind and as such it naturally interacts with its surroundings. Eventually the stone, whether as a larger collective or similar to maybe how you have it now, picks up on particular energy that tells it that it would be an energetic match / complementary to / beneficial for / etc… so using its energetic field, it may influence the awareness of its surroundings until the finally engaging the awareness of something that carries it off until it finds the place that serves the purpose that imprinted upon it prior to its journey. While for some, the only purpose is to engage our awareness even just temporarily to become curious of what else could possibly be out there waiting for us to find it and some may just be a small glimmer of hope to the possibilities…
I know for me, personally, they are more than just these… they are messengers, healers, protectors, reminders, keys, stabilizers, generators, teachers, information storage, tools, support, gifts, or even friends (the possibilities are endless!). They can brighten up a space whether a physical space or even the spaces in your heart and mind. So it’s important to approach these allies with gratitude and respect, as well as with love!
